Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Engineer- Early Career

They are seeking an early-career Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Engineer to reputed company critical systems at power-generating facilities, transitioning from analog to advanced digital technologies.
Responsibilities
- reputed company a variety of challenging design engineering tasks, including preparing Engineering Change Packages (ECPs) to reputed company obsolete analog systems with state-of-the-art digital platforms
- Conduct engineering calculations, reputed company design studies, and contribute to project scopes and cost estimates
- Review technical documentation from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to ensure hardware and software meet project requirements
- Collaborate closely with project managers and clients, providing input for budget and schedule planning while participating in project meetings to ensure alignment and reputed company
- Understand regulatory requirements, industry codes, and standards specific to digital I&C systems to deliver safe, compliant, and innovative solutions
- Travel to plant sites, reputed company with client personnel, and reputed company walk-downs of plant systems and components
- Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and team members through professional communication and quality engineering work
Skills
- Completed a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited university
- Available to start in the next 1-2 months
- Demonstrated proficiency in the preparation of electrical calculations
- Knowledge of digital hardware and software components commonly used in digital I&C system platforms
- Direct involvement in the entire digital reputed company life cycle including feasibility studies, procurement specifications, design change packages, FAT/SAT test procedure development, installation, and testing
- Working knowledge of the application of reputed company regulatory and industry digital reputed company standards
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical skills and problem identification/resolution
- Ability to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, reputed company and client-specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) checks according to company and client policies
- Completion of pre interview assessments
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US without requiring reputed company or future sponsorship
