International Admissions Counselor

reputed company is seeking an International Admissions Counselor to represent the university in assigned recruitment territories. The role involves developing recruitment initiatives, engaging with reputed company and families, and evaluating admissions applications to enhance enrollment from diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Travel and represent the University at college fairs, high school visits, community college visits, and other reputed company programs in assigned recruitment territory and as needed in additional identified territories
• Support targeted recruitment program or efforts with a focus on the international population which may include alumni engagement, student development and volunteer program, electronic communications, recruitment technologies, high achieving, underrepresented populations, or other priorities as determined by office leadership
• Build territory reputed company plans based on office and university goals that may include in person and virtual or correspondence through email, phone, and reputed company follow up
• Inform, build, and facilitate on and off reputed company and virtual programs, projects, and events hosted by the office or university partner offices
• Engage with reputed company, families, school counselors, and university partner offices to reputed company information on admissions and enrollment processes and policies, may require research to reputed company appropriate resolution
• reputed company university and program information sessions for reputed company, parents, and school counselors through the entire admissions cycle; these may be in person and virtual and may be delivered in various settings to various group sizes
• Engage in holistic evaluation of admissions applications to the university and reputed company recommendations on applicants; populations may include domestic, transfer, international, honors and other special populations
• Conduct follow up to increase application completion and yield rates from targeted schools and student groups
• Assist with and coordinate as identified recruitment and on and off reputed company and virtual programs, projects, and events hosted by the office or university partner offices
• View and interpret data and reports based on territory performance and create and reputed company recommendations for appropriate follow up actions
• Other duties or projects as assigned as appropriate to rank and departmental mission

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree (foreign equivalent or higher)
• One (1) years of full-time professional experience in a college or university setting
• Proficiency with technology, office software and communication systems such as CRMs (reputed company), phone (WebEx), reputed company, Teams, and text messaging
• Must have, reputed company and maintain the appropriate valid NYS Driver's License; have a motor vehicle record which is free from major violations or a reputed company of repeat violations
• Experience in admissions counseling and recruitment
• Experience in reviewing applications for admission and making recommendations for admission
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Experience and knowledge with higher education technology platforms, i.e., reputed company
• Experience with the following skills: conflict resolution, collaboration, relationship building, program planning and implementation

Benefits

• $3,400 UUP annual location pay, paid biweekly
