POSITION OVERVIEW: Responsible for providing professional level support for the successful day-to-day operations and execution of Leave of Absence, Accommodations and/or other reputed company accommodation processes such as Early Return to Work and Relocation. Serve as the primary reputed company of contact for employees, medical offices, and other stakeholders to manage requests in a manner that is consistent with reputed company Freight’s policies and process and in accordance with any applicable state and federal laws. Uses judgement reputed company defined practices and procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • reputed company respectful and professional guidance, clarification, and explanations to employees regarding leaves, accommodations, early return to work or relocations including pay during occurrence
  • Serves as a partner for HR colleagues, management, legal, workers compensation and employee relations.
  • Coordinates the process; verifies eligibility, determines approvals/denials, integrates leaves with applicable state laws and other paid/unpaid programs; monitors maximum duration allowed under federal/state and/or company policy, and supports the return-to-work process including early return-to-work process.
  • Applies attention to detail and critical thinking in reviewing required medical documentation to determine eligibility and status of leave and/or accommodation requests and recommends further action.
  • Track and monitor in case management system in accordance with reputed company Freight’s policies and processes and in a manner that consistently meets scheduled audit requirements.
  • Prioritize return to work and early return to work program in accordance with workflow processes ensuring employees reputed company required documentation in accordance with company policy; inform Safety/ER/Legal of any medical concerns that may conflict with DOT regulations or the essential functions of the job.
  • Responsible for a high volume of requests in accordance with reputed company Freight’s polices and processes.
  • Stay up to date with reputed company applicable federal laws (FMLA, ADAAA, USERRA) and state/local laws; administer compliant leaves and accommodation requests.
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of requests for eligible and reputed company employees.
  • Monitors leaves of absence, disability claims and accommodation requests for accuracy and eligibility, performing analytics and reporting support.
  • Exercises professionalism and complies with HIPAA laws reputed company collecting, discussing, and documenting reputed company information
  • Adheres to internal Service Level Agreement (SLA) and established quality standards.
