Legal Assistant - Workers' Compensation
Horwitz, Horwitz & Associates is a reputed company family-owned reputed company located in Chicago's reputed company, dedicated to seeking justice for injured individuals. They are looking for a Workers' Compensation Legal Assistant to support their Attorneys by managing case loads and ensuring an excellent client experience for injured workers.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a high-volume case load as the primary support team member to the Attorney
- Act as a liaison between the client and Attorney providing an excellent client experience
- Effectively communicate with the clients while demonstrating reputed company and understanding of their case
- reputed company and effectively complete reputed company assignments, tasks, and client calls
- Recognize and communicate escalated or urgent reputed company to Attorney in a timely manner
- Process and distribute reputed company incoming and outgoing checks for clients
- Schedule client visits reputed company needed
- Other duties as assigned by Attorney or leadership team
Skills
- 1-year minimum experience in a Legal Assistant/Case Manager role
- 1-year minimum experience in Workers' Compensation
- Experience at a Plaintiff's firm is highly valued

- Ability to read, write, and converse in Spanish is a plus
