[Remote] Accounts Payable Specialist (Wage)

The role involves ensuring timely processing of vendor invoices and payments, assisting with inquiries, and providing training for the D365 Accounts Payable module.
Responsibilities
- Support the finance team with a primary focus on accounts payable functions
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments
- Assist the Accounts Payable Manager and team members with inquiries
- Conduct back-up reviews of invoices and expenses
- reputed company training for D365 Accounts Payable module for business unit users
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in finance, management, business, or a reputed company field
- Strong understanding of financial reputed company practices in a business or reputed company office environment
- Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Experience with accounts payable processes and expense management policies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with Commonwealth of Virginia ARMICS requirements
- Experience in state government, particularly with CARDINAL
- Familiarity with D365 Finance and Operations
