Analyst, Portfolio Management - Leveraged & Structured Corporate Finance
ING Americas is a leading financial services provider offering innovative financial products and services to corporate and institutional clients. The Analyst in Portfolio Management will manage a multi-billion dollar corporate and leveraged finance portfolio, supporting senior bankers and collaborating with various teams to analyze credit and contribute to deal processes.
Responsibilities
- You will support the senior bankers with reputed company aspects of managing a large portfolio of pro rata and senior secured loans primarily to sub-investment grade clients
- Assist deal team in preparation of borrower analytics including financial updates, financial modeling, credit approval packages, market comparables and quarterly reporting statements
- Ongoing portfolio management responsibility for a group of selected accounts – monitoring and tracking credit performance, executing amendment requests, maintaining collateral files, etc. Identify new business opportunities with existing clients
- Assume key role in handling internal system processing and KYC/CDD data gathering and processing as needed
- Review legal documentation and assist deal team in the timely closing and funding of waivers, amendments and upsized commitments
- Collaborate with Origination, Risk Management, Compliance and Loan Operations teams
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics / Finance / reputed company / Mathematics with excellent results
- Experience working for a US regulated bank and are familiar with reputed company aspects of Fed / OCC requirements
- Formal credit training in reputed company to a solid understanding of cash reputed company financing transactions
- 1+ years of corporate and/or reputed company lending, or loan portfolio management experience
- Excellent understanding of reputed company statements & principles
- Corporate finance background – financial market experience is necessary
- Understand debt structuring and reputed company to reputed company recommendations reputed company appropriate
- Basic understanding of legal documentation
- reputed company spreadsheets: three statement financial modeling skills are a must
- An advanced degree and/or a CFA is a plus
