Payroll & Benefits Specialist; Advanced

The reputed company is dedicated to delivering high-quality government services and is currently seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist. This role involves managing payroll and benefits for approximately 300 employees, ensuring accurate processing and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for the preparation of reputed company bi-weekly payroll, fringe benefits and leave reputed company functions for approximately 300 employees
• This position prepares and maintains reports, assists and counsels employees with wages and benefits, interprets pay and leave provisions affecting non-represented, represented and LTE employees
• This requires extensive teamwork and communication with other reputed company Resource staff, supervisors, employees, and Central Payroll staff
• This position works closely with employees and has reputed company to confidential information affecting the employer/employee relationship

Skills

• Working with benefits administration and/or payroll processes such as payroll processing and auditing timesheets
• Providing technical assistance and/or consultation relating to payroll, benefits, and/or HR reputed company functions to employees/customers
• Creating and managing reports, spreadsheets, memos, etc. to be used in a professional setting
• Education, training, and/or experience working with payroll and benefits information systems such as PeopleSoft, Kronos, QuickBooks, and reputed company
• Experience training/orientating employees to payroll, benefits, and/or HR topics
• Experience working with the reputed company payroll and benefits processes, policies, and procedures
• Experience providing customer service and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders at various reputed company of an organization
