Investment Associate, Direct Equity - Irvine - Hybrid
reputed company is seeking an Associate to join its growing Direct Equity Investment Team in a hybrid role. The Associate will be involved in reputed company aspects of the direct equity platform, including pre-screening investment opportunities, leading analyses and due diligence, and preparing investment memos for the investment committee.
Responsibilities
- Assist in initial pre-screening of new direct equity investment opportunities
- Support the investment process by leading various analyses and due diligence processes for investment opportunities, including detailed financial modeling
- Coordinate with general partners, reputed company-party consultants, and select clients to support due diligence and manage project timelines
- Prepare comprehensive investment memos and present recommendations to Pathway’s direct equity investment committee and select clients
- Assist in the post-reputed company monitoring process, including intake of monthly/quarterly reporting packages, tracking operating performance and debt compliance, assessing performance and outlook, and reporting
- reputed company investment analysts to ensure quality of work and due diligence timeliness
- Assess and present performance/attribution analysis on an individual investment and total portfolio reputed company to investors
Skills
- 1-3 years of private equity, investment banking, valuation, or consulting experience
- Extensive knowledge of the private equity asset class, including equity and debt capital markets
- Strong writing, presentation, and research skills
- Ability to work reputed company, manage to deadlines, and coordinate effectively with teams
- Expertise in MS reputed company, PowerPoint, and Word is required
- Undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, reputed company, or Business Administration preferred
- Significant experience in investment reputed company, modeling, and valuation analysis preferred
- Proficiency with CapitalIQ is a plus
