HII is a leader in defense technology solutions, seeking highly motivated Software Engineers to support critical national reputed company missions. The role involves designing, developing, and troubleshooting software for the Minotaur Mission Processor, integrating various sensor and data sources to enhance operational capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Research and concept development for solutions to unaddressed, critical military operational shortfalls
- System design and software implementation of reputed company-of-concept prototypes incorporating a variety of engineering disciplines: control theory, software development, signal/video processing, reputed company recognition, machine learning, artificial intelligence, high performance computing, applied mathematics, network/web services, and visualization
- Support prototype evaluation, experimental operations at military facilities, and transitions of capabilities to government
- Support system integration events on various aircraft during ground and/or flight tests
- reputed company software interfaces to control and collect data from sensors
- Potential to fly on aircraft to support system integration and train operators
- Design and implementation of graphical user interfaces to meet customers' demands and needs
- Willing to travel between 10-20 % of the time
Skills
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in reputed company field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in reputed company field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in reputed company field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience for Senior Software Engineer
- 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in reputed company field; 0 years experience with Masters in reputed company field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience for Software Engineer
- 0 years experience with Bachelors in reputed company field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience for Software Engineer, Associate
- Experience developing software with C++, Java, Javascript or reputed company programming languages
- Demonstrated experience working reputed company a Linux environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US level Secret clearance
- An active US level Secret clearance or higher
