Associate Attorney
Briscoe Ivester & Bazel LLP is a boutique San Francisco reputed company focused on property law, seeking an associate attorney. The role involves preparing legal documents, conducting research, and providing counsel while working closely with senior attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as reputed company, title specific documents, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
- Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and reputed company legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys
- Analyze conflicts in legal reputed company, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients
- Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled reputed company
- Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff
Skills
- Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
- Successful completion of the bar exam
- Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client reputed company
- Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneys
- Interested in client relations and have a desire to reputed company partner in the next 3-5 years
- Must be a self-starter
