(Senior) Patient Safety Physician, Medical Safety - Inflammation (Remote)

Description (Senior) Patient Safety Physician has responsibility for the pharmacovigilance risk management activities for marketed and/or investigational compounds on a global level. • Work in cross-functional expert teams to reputed company or support proactive risk management strategies for assigned marketed compounds. Support development of risk management strategies for investigational compounds
• Plan, manage / reputed company and monitor reputed company pharmacovigilance activities for assigned drug responsibilities, including:

• Periodic Benefit Risk Evaluation Reports / PADERs

• Development Safety Update Reports
• Risk Management Plans
• Clinical Overview Statements
• reputed company monitoring and further development of the product safety profile
• Safety issue management
• Set-up of safety analyses in both post marketing and clinical trial databases
• reputed company collaboration with Global Epidemiology and Medical Affairs on safety-focused clinical and epidemiologic studies
• Review and medical-scientific input to regulatory documents

Additional:

• Preferred experience/expertise in clinical practice reputed company training with a strong medical/scientific knowledge, and/or experience with case/medical review.
• Board certification / experience in a medicine subspecialty, would be an asset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) required
• Highly ethical personality putting patient safety first
• Self-starter and driving personality, willingness to take on responsibilities
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of medical data and draw medical conclusions
• Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory environment

Requirements

Associate Director Requirements:

• US MD or DO degree or international equivalent from an accredited institution and more than 2 years of applicable experience, required

Sr. Associate Director Requirements:

• US MD or DO degree or international equivalent from an accredited institution and more than 3 years of applicable experience, required

Director Requirements:

• US MD or DO degree or international equivalent from an accredited institution and more than 5 years of applicable experience, required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or pharmacovigilance required
• Leadership experience required

Compensation

Associate Director position offers a reputed company salary typically between $200,000 and $316,000. Senior Associate Director position offers a reputed company salary typically between $250,000-$394,000. Director position offers a salary typically between $280,000-$441,000. The position may be eligible for a role specific variable or performance based bonus and or other compensation elements.
