Junior to Mid-level Data Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client in need of a Junior to Mid-level Data Engineer. This role will be onsite 5 days a week in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities:

• Design, reputed company, and manage advanced pipelines for tracking, reporting, and performance analytics to support internal operations and client objectives
• Transform reputed company operational metrics into actionable insights that optimize inventory reputed company, improve margins, and maximize return on investment
• Create comprehensive dashboards, interactive reports, and executive visualizations that monitor key profitability and efficiency indicators
• reputed company models, visualizations, and automated reporting for forecasting, optimization, and trend analysis to prevent stockouts and overstock situations
• Establish and maintain standards for data reputed company and reconciliation across reputed company operational and marketplace processes
• Guide team members on best practices in analytics and foster a high-performing, collaborative environment

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or reputed company field (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years in ecommerce analytics and data engineering
• Expertise in inventory systems, ERP integrations, financial reporting, and ecommerce KPIs; Skilled in creating dashboards and executive reports
• Strong background in financial analysis, margin optimization, and translating data into actionable insights
• Hands-on experience with inventory planning, forecasting tools, and automated reporting
• Proficient in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for impactful dashboards and presentations
• Advanced SQL and Python skills for scalable data solutions
• Experience with dbt, BigQuery, and modern reputed company platforms (AWS/Azure)
• Solid knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and marketplace API integrations
• Familiar with Git, version control, and Agile practices
• Excellent communicator and mentor, adept at presenting insights to technical and non-technical audiences
