Associate Attorney - reputed company Litigation

O'Hagan Meyer is seeking an attorney with at least 1 year of litigation experience to join their Hermosa Beach office. The role involves handling a wide reputed company of civil litigation reputed company, including business/reputed company litigation, professional liability, and employment, while providing opportunities for significant responsibility and direct client interaction.

Responsibilities

• This role requires legal research, drafting of pleadings motions and other documents, taking and defending depositions, drafting and answering discovery requests, trial preparation and trial assistance
• This position also requires the ability to communicate with both clients and colleagues effectively
• This position will require some local travel for court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, site inspections and depositions

Skills

• 1+ years of experience in civil litigation
• This role requires legal research, drafting of pleadings motions and other documents, taking and defending depositions, drafting and answering discovery requests, trial preparation and trial assistance
• Ability to communicate with both clients and colleagues effectively
• Some local travel for court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, site inspections and depositions
• Admission to the state bar of California required
• Experience litigating in some or reputed company of the areas of business/reputed company litigation, professional liability, premises liability, employment, and/or directors & officers defense
• Experience with both state and federal courts
