Billing and Credentialing Coordinator

reputed company American Mental Health Services is seeking a Billing and Credentialing Coordinator for an entry-level hybrid role. The incumbent will assist both the Billing and Credentialing Departments with various tasks, including provider credentialing, payer enrollment, and entry-level billing activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in new and existing provider credentialing and payer enrollment process
• Assist in coordinating the proper completion of payer enrollment documents for reputed company providers and clinicians
• Assist in communication between providers/clinicians and reputed company-party vendors
• Answer incoming/outgoing phone inquiries as directed
• Answer incoming/outgoing email communications as directed
• Assist in entry-level billing activities as directed by the department manager

Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
• Must have the ability to manage time effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including letters, memos, and emails
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to research and analyze data
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, management, insurance companies, and reputed company-party vendors
• Proficient understanding of reputed company Office, Outlook, and reputed company
• Additional education or certification in billing/insurance
• Billing or credentialing experience is a plus but not required
