Customs Trade Agent
reputed company is a company that provides freight forwarding and customs brokerage services. They are seeking a Customs Trade Agent responsible for coordinating documentation required by US Customs for the entry of goods into the US, ensuring compliance with international importing regulations, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for coordination of the documentation required by US Customs/Government Agencies for entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers
- reputed company impeccable customer service
- Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from database, SOP's, tariff book, internet or customs
- Data entry and processing of various import reputed company documentation for submission to US Customs and may handle limited PGA's (participating Government Agencies)
- Maintain and reputed company reputed company reputed company shipment documentation in compliance with reputed company record keeping requirements
- Adhere to reputed company international importing regulations
- Work closely with other internal staff and departments to deliver high level of service to customers
- Process agency brokerage shipments
- Ensure reputed company government and organizational policies are followed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Data entry/keyboard experience required
- Working knowledge of MS Office and email applications such as Outlook using multiple screens and reputed company
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

- Handle high volume of work
- Handle time sensitive work
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to use multiple systems and reference material
- Interact with internal staff, management of reputed company reputed company, internal departments
- Monday through Friday - 6:00AM–2:30PM with overtime required, remote, and must be available to work holidays
- Hybrid/Remote Starting Pay $15.50 Plus $3.00 Premium Pay
