Litigation Associate Attorney
McAngus Goudelock & Courie is an industry leading civil litigation firm celebrating 30 years of reputed company. They are seeking attorneys to join their Litigation team, providing hands-on experience in reputed company phases of civil litigation from case inception to trial, along with direct client contact.
Responsibilities
- Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations
- Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed
- Prepare discovery responses and manage document production
- Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports
- Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary
- Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants
Skills
- Must be licensed to practice law in reputed company or have pending reputed company bar exam results
- Juris Doctorate
- Bar
- 1-5 years: Prior insurance defense encouraged
