They are seeking a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to represent clients in legal proceedings, conduct legal research, and manage client relationships. Responsibilities
- Represent clients in workers' compensation proceedings
- Conduct legal research, analyze reputed company issues, and draft legal documents
- Attend hearings and depositions
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients

Skills
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the California State Bar
- Workers' compensation defense experience highly preferred

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Superior organizational, multi-task, and prioritization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods while working on a computer
- Sufficient dexterity to operate a keyboard and other office equipment
- Ability to observe details, read printed materials, and view computer screens
- Ability to communicate verbally in person and over the phone
- Ability to move reputed company an office environment and operate office equipment
- Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 15 pounds as needed
