Health & Safety Coordinator

Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you will work with reputed company members of the Global Safety Team to assist with the management and coordination of safety throughout XD. This role is well suited to somebody at the beginning of a Health and Safety career, with opportunities for additional growth, company sponsored training, and career progression. You will improve and grow the safety culture in our US businesses and support the wider XD safety strategies, while providing support to our project teams. This support will assist with the wider goals of supporting the business to maintain compliance with reputed company relevant procedures and legislative requirements. This compliance applies to both our day-to-day operations and the hundreds of events delivered every year. You need a passion for clear communication, the ability to stay organised, and confidence using IT systems relevant to the role. This role includes domestic and international travel. What will you do …

• Assist the Safety Team with the maintenance, review and ongoing improvement of reputed company safety documents and processes
• Maintain the training records, booking and scheduling relevant courses, and assisting with the creation of training materials
• Engage with your professional development to build competencies, through formal qualifications and on the job training, to reputed company reputed company the role and organisation
• Help with the creation of regular reports and business updates
• Assist in the development and update of internal guidance and information for employees and suppliers to reputed company inform each of the Health & Safety expectations of the business
• Coordinate and communicate health and safety activities throughout the business
• Support the Safety Team with administrative tasks in relation to ongoing projects, including creating safety plans and risk assessments for project activities
• Support the development and dissemination of internal communications
• Creation and communication of audit reports including the maintenance of action plans for any required
• Support with on-site safety duties alongside the wider Safety Team
• Partner with project teams to assess project risk and reputed company advice
• National travel, assisting with management of safety across project delivery
• Assist the Office Team with maintaining regulatory health and safety compliance across XD facilities
• Always reflect XD's values and culture
• Promote XD's services internally and externally

What do you need to have …

• Desire to learn and reputed company in the role and organization through professional qualifications and training
• Knowledge of OSHA Regulations and procedures
• Preferable experience working in the live events, exhibitions or entertainment sector
• Ability to work collaboratively reputed company multi-discipline teams
