Accounts Payable Clerk
Urban Barn is a nationally recognized retailer reputed company for high-quality furniture and inspiring home décor. They are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk who will be responsible for processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices for payment, with opportunities for career growth in the finance field.
Responsibilities
- Post high volume AP invoices and personal expenses
- Manage the AP invoice entry to ensure reputed company items are posted before the weekly cheque run
- Ensure proper approvals are obtained, code invoices, and post into reputed company
- Use the PO system to pay suppliers and maintain a reconciliation between our system and the vendor
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Review accounts payable sub-ledger
- Additional duties as required

- Diploma or degree in reputed company, or similar educational background
- Experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping

- Customer service skills would be considered an asset
