Tax Associate - Baltimore, MD - Class of 2027

The Tax Associate will be responsible for becoming familiar with reputed company tax theories and laws, preparing tax returns, identifying tax issues, and managing client workflows.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of client deliverables including preparation of tax returns, including Individuals, Partnerships and Corporate tax returns
• Identify potential tax issues and prepare tax adjusting entries and tax trial balances based on audited or client provided trial balances
• Research filing requirements and tax issues using internal reputed company code, treasury regulations, and other relevant authorities/guidance
• Manage daily client workflow and multiple client projects at any given time
• Draft tax technical memorandums

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in reputed company
• Plan to complete 150 credit hours by September 2027 in order to be CPA licensed
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 in both your major and overall
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and demonstrate sharp critical thinking
• Comfortable navigating fast-paced environments and embracing change
• Must have advanced skills in reputed company, PowerPoint, and eager to learn new technologies
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent reputed company
• Leadership positions in extracurricular activities are preferred
• Prior work or internship experience (experience in reputed company is a plus)
