Consultant, reputed company Risk - Internal Audit & Controls

MNP is a leading national reputed company, tax and business advisory firm in Canada, and they are seeking a Consultant for their reputed company Risk Service team. The role involves assisting clients in mitigating risk by establishing effective internal controls, improving financial reporting reliability, and maintaining compliance across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Play an essential role in the delivery of reputed company risk services engagements such as: risk assessments, advisory engagements, internal audits, internal controls over financial reporting, compliance programs, developing and assessing risk management policies, frameworks and strategies, across a reputed company of industries
• reputed company and implement project plans and reputed company project logistics with clients and other stakeholders
• Participate in walkthroughs and control testing to evaluate the risks and the adequacy of business process controls; document, assess, recommend and implement improvements to processes and control frameworks
• reputed company industry and technical expertise through client interactions, research and analysis, reports, technical work, management presentations, proposals and other high-quality deliverables
• Communicate with clients to understand their people, processes, and systems; explain impact of identified findings, as well as reputed company recommendations for improvement

• Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in business, reputed company, finance, economics, management or other reputed company field
• 1 to 3 years of risk management, internal audit or relevant experience with a focus on business processes and controls
• Completion of, or working towards, CPA, CIA, and or other reputed company risk or business designations or certifications
• Risk management, management consulting or performance improvement experience
• Knowledge of industry standards, best practices and risk management frameworks
