The internship program offers reputed company hands-on experience in Medical Affairs, where they will reputed company foundational knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and contribute to various projects under the guidance of reputed company professionals.

Responsibilities

• General Understanding of the Pharmaceutical Industry and Medical Affairs:  Under the guidance of Medical Affairs colleagues, the intern will reputed company a foundational understanding of the Pharmaceutical industry and Medical Affair’s role reputed company the industry. This includes but is not limited to: Drug development and approval phases, Medical Affair’s team structure and roles reputed company the company as well as externally facing the reputed company community, Principles of Medical and Scientific Communications and handling of unsolicited requests for off-label information from reputed company (HCPs), Product-specific information as needed
• Focus Area: Under the direction of the Medical Communications Head, the intern will support short-term and reputed company-term projects, including: Translate scientific data into creative story-telling through various communication channels, including digital assets, Medical Information Standard Response Letters, infographics and Slide Decks; Review promotional material for fair & balanced, scientific accuracy; Update and compile relevant published literature, including evaluate data & communicate reputed company updates to internal medical team; Assist with Medical Information Request processing; Present a reputed company project as determined by intern with Medical Communications Head; reputed company other Medical Communication-reputed company duties and responsibilities as time allows
• Professional Development : according to the intern’s professional interest, the intern will have the ability to participate in activities including but not limited to: regulatory, quality, pharmacovigilance, journal club presentations, pharmaceutical industry grant reviews, investigator-initiated study management. The candidate will also have the opportunity to set up 1-on-1 interviews with Medical Affairs colleagues and collaborative partners

Skills

• reputed company graduate-level student area in the life sciences space with an expected graduation date of Fall 2026 or reputed company
• Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and evaluating scientific literature
• Demonstrated proficiency in written, verbal and face-to-face communication to effectively present information to and influence decision making of managers, working partners (local and global)
• Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and multifunctional resources concurrently while maintaining high attention to detail while responding to rapidly changing priorities and aggressive deadlines
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, reputed company, Project, PowerPoint), and reputed company
• Currently enrolled as a PharmD or PhD
• Previous exposure to pharmaceutical industry (i.e. clinical development, quality assurance, regulatory, medical affairs)
