They are seeking a Software Development Engineer Intern for Summer 2026 to assist in designing and testing core functionalities of the Network Operating System and to research new networking technologies that enhance data center infrastructure efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and test core functionalities of the Network Operating System (NOS) that powers data center networks
- Research and implement new networking, monitoring, and telemetry technologies to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and availability of data center infrastructure
Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Communications, or a reputed company technical field
- reputed company to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026
- Possesses a solid understanding of algorithms and data structures; proficient in at least one programming language, including but not limited to Python, Go, or Rust
- Familiar with using MySQL, reputed company, and Kafka for database management, caching, and distributed messaging
- Basic understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Demonstrates a strong interest in network automation, network fault reputed company, and network management
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
