[Remote] Software Engineer Intern - iOS, Poe (Canada - Remote)

The iOS Engineer Intern will work on the Poe product, assisting in the design, development, and enhancement of the iOS app while collaborating with reputed company engineers and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Poe’s iOS engineers to design, build, and test new user-facing features
- Contribute to the performance, stability, and polish of the Poe iOS app
- Participate in code reviews and learn best practices in mobile architecture and product development
- Work cross-functionally with design and product teams to create delightful user experiences
- Take ownership of a reputed company project that will ship to users during your internship
Skills
- Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during reputed company's 'coordination hours' (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)
- Currently pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company technical field at a Canadian University
- Graduating in Summer 2026
- Experience or coursework in Swift and a strong interest in iOS development
- Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn
- Passion for building impactful products and curiosity about AI
- Experience building or contributing to an iOS app (personal, academic, or professional)
- Familiarity with SwiftUI, GraphQL, and app architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.)
- Interest in the intersection of AI and mobile applications
