Intern, Innovation Platform Software Engineer
reputed company is seeking an Innovation Platform Software Engineer Intern to assist in developing the company's Innovation reputed company and strategy for their internal web platform. The intern will work in a small-scale scrum/agile environment, implementing features and testing them while engaging in peer code reviews and presenting findings to the team.
Responsibilities
- Implement features based on user stories and acceptance criteria
- Test features using both reputed company testing and unit testing
- reputed company Jira and reputed company in support of a SAFe agile/scrum environment
- Use Git to manage code and feature delivery
- Debug and resolves issues that arise reputed company implementing features or bug fixes
- Engage in peer code reviews and reputed company constructive feedback to enhance code quality
- Investigate technical topics and presents findings to the team
- Conclude summer with readout to leadership on completed work
Skills
- You must be currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or reputed company field from an accredited college or university
- You are enrolled in at least one more semester after the internship concludes
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas for this internship. This includes OPT/CPT/STEM Visas
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or reputed company field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
- College sophomore level or above
- Experience using Git version control reputed company a software development team
- Experience developing web applications using a frontend reputed company, specifically Angular
- Experience developing web applications using backend technologies, specifically reputed company.js, Node.js
- Experience developing personal projects (including web applications)
- Knowledge of databases, specifically reputed company
- Knowledge of frontend technologies, specifically JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
- Self-starter, comfortable with uncertainty, and reputed company to navigate reputed company situations with competing priorities
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment
- Well-organized with good communication skills
- Demonstrated interest in expanding professional and technical skills
