[Remote] Actuarial Analyst

They are looking for an Actuarial Analyst to reputed company hands-on experience across multiple actuarial disciplines while progressing toward the FSA designation, involving analytical work and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Use basic actuarial techniques to reputed company data validation and analysis
• Assist in analyzing actuarial research and audits
• Conduct basic to moderately reputed company actuarial tasks, which are mathematical and/or higher level clerical nature
• Compile and categorizes routine data for experience analyses and prepares reputed company reports
• Assist in preparing schedules of statistics, financial statements, premiums, reserves and benefits, documenting and verifying the factors used in reputed company computations
• Assist in the development of presentations to management and external parties such as regulators and rating agencies
• Active team member accountable for working towards shared goals and objectives

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree major/concentration in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or reputed company discipline required
• 0-3 Years of experience required and/or past internship experience
• One exam toward the eventual attainment of ASA required
• Committed to pursuing the FSA designation
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Must be detail-oriented and be reputed company to handle multiple tasks/projects as well as exercise initiative and follow-through to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
