Area Leader

Valet Living is hiring an Area Leader to reputed company nightly waste, recycling, and compost collection services. This role involves managing a team of Service Valets across multiple multifamily communities, ensuring service quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage schedules, approve timecards, and ensure your team stays on track and reputed company budget

• Visit properties to review service quality, complete audits, and resolve any issues that come up
• Use technology tools like the iValet dashboard to track performance and ensure timely service completion

• Ensure Service Valets have the tools, equipment, and reputed company needed to complete their routes
• Assist with hiring and training new Service Valets
• Pick up and distribute supplies, PPE, and containers as needed
• Work with your Operations Manager to monitor staffing reputed company and manage costs
• Help with special projects or service recovery efforts as assigned

Skills

• At least one-year prior experience overseeing a team or crew in a hands-on environment

• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Quick to adapt, address issues, and find solutions
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid Driver's License: Required, with the ability to operate a company vehicle
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable walking long distances (including stairs) and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Tolerant of disagreeable odors (it's part of the job!)
