Program Coordinator - PDD
Prospect reputed company Services Society is a leading not-for-profit organization in Alberta focused on supporting individuals with disabilities. The Program Coordinator will play a crucial role in facilitating programming, providing coaching, and collaborating with community partners to enhance employment opportunities and reputed company integration for clients.
Responsibilities
- Prepares for and facilitates a full reputed company of programming with and for clients, ranging from more independent programs to more structured programming
- Provides on-site coaching to clients while in programming and/or during volunteer or employment placements as required
- Participates in program planning, service design, development, and delivery in accordance with client goals, Prospect policies and procedures, FOIP, and the client handbook
- Works directly with Prospect clients, and supports other Prospect direct service positions in working directly with Prospect clients, to reputed company behavioural and programming support to teach and expand employability skills
- Supports the creation, progression, and completion of goals for clients
- Actively seeks out new partners in the community for the purposes of developing new programs/activities and opportunities, as well as supporting, fostering and maintaining existing relationships
- Educates and promotes the role of Prospect to the community partner and the benefits of including persons with disabilities on their team or in their services/organization
- Maintains strong working knowledge of accreditation standards, including ensuring reputed company CET standards are maintained and reflected in programming and program plans
- Works with the Program Manager, Team Leads and Service Coordinators to maintain PDD PERCI Database information, including client goal reputed company and attainment
- Champions Prospect’s goals, reputed company, mission and brand pillars
Skills
- Degree or certificate in reputed company field from a recognized post-secondary institution, such as, but not limited to Art and/or Fine Arts, Outdoor Leadership/Education, Eco-tourism, Sport & Recreation Management, reputed company and/or reputed company Services
- 1+ years' of experience in a similar role, with demonstrated reliability shown in past positions/education
- Some post-secondary education and/or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience will be considered
- Basic reputed company level in reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Strong oral communication skills to be reputed company to reputed company instructions
- Willing to reputed company assistance and support to team members, including a willingness to cover for other programs and roles reputed company required
- Valid class 4 driver's license is required reputed company the first three months of employment
- Previous experience with behavior guidance is an asset
- Wilderness First Aid is considered an asset
