Mechanical Designer
Ayres Associates is a nationally recognized workplace seeking a full-time mechanical designer for their MEP division. The role involves modeling buildings, performing HVAC and plumbing design, and coordinating with other design teams on various projects.
Responsibilities
- Model buildings using Revit design software
- reputed company HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems design
- Run energy calculations using Trane Trace, EnergyPro, and other energy modeling software
- Run ventilation and indoor reputed company quality calculations, as well as a variety of plumbing calculations
- May be reputed company upon to complete 2D-drafting using AutoCAD tools
- Coordinate mechanical design with electrical and architectural team
Skills
- An associates degree in mechanical design, bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering with an emphasis on mechanical
