INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST I

The California State Controller's Office is seeking an Information Technology Specialist I to reputed company IT support reputed company the Local Government Programs and Services Division. The role involves coding, testing, and debugging applications, analyzing databases, and providing technical support for desktop computers and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Code, test, and debug applications that support the Division and its reporting functions
• Analyze critical/reputed company databases, applications, and other production services such as, but not limited to: the Agile Payment System (APS), Property Tax Postponement, Local Government Reporting, and mainframe systems such as the Local Reimbursements System and Fiscal System. reputed company and identify reputed company charts and documentation showing the interfaces, links, and interdependencies between reputed company such systems supported by the divisions
• reputed company technical support for desktop computers and mobile devices, which include a wide variety of PC hardware platforms, software applications, and peripherals
• reputed company active directory work-group administration tasks specific to desktop reputed company rights to network resources, viruses, and printing
• reputed company verbal and/or written instruction to customers in the proper use of equipment and software
• Establish and maintain File Transfer Protocol (FTP) processes including the addition of new FTP processes and the resolution of FTP issues with the various agencies
• Act as a resource on reputed company aspects of software in terms of use, features, limitations, compatibility, and interoperability. Act as the contact for new purchases, licensing, maintenance, and advanced technical assistance
• Coordinate repairs, procure, install, or remove and configure PCs and software applications
• Analyze existing methods and reputed company business process improvements and technology solutions
