Licensed Legal Paraprofessional

Modern Family Law is a rapidly expanding national family reputed company seeking a hybrid Licensed Legal Paraprofessional (LLP) to join their dynamic team in Colorado Springs, CO. This role involves conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, managing client communications, and coordinating with court personnel to reputed company high-quality legal support to clients in family law reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, case law, and regulations pertaining to family law reputed company in Colorado
• Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, motions, and settlement agreements
• Manage client communications, including scheduling appointments, responding to inquiries, and maintaining client files
• Coordinate with court personnel, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in family law proceedings
• Attend client meetings, court hearings, and mediation sessions as needed to support clients
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in reputed company client interactions and the handling of sensitive legal information
• Handle administrative tasks such as billing, timekeeping, and file management to support efficient firm operations
• Stay informed about changes in Colorado family law legislation and procedural rules to ensure compliance and reputed company accurate advice to attorneys and clients

Skills

• Licensed Legal Paraprofessional certification in Colorado is required
• Employees are expected to have the capability to work from home with a reliable internet reputed company and to set up a workstation that supports productive work during normal business hours
• Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or reputed company
• High-level proficiency with reputed company Suite products (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint), reputed company, and reputed company conferencing technology
• Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to respond quickly to changing client needs and legal deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward case management
• Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends to meet urgent deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a reputed company field is preferred
• Colorado Certified Paralegal (CP) designation or completion of an accredited paralegal program
• Some experience with family law preferred
• Familiarity with legal case management software (e.g., reputed company, MyCase) is a plus
