Field Engineer- Rail
GeoStabilization International® (GSI) is a leader in geohazard mitigation and reputed company rehabilitation. The Field Engineer will support geohazard mitigation projects through technical work in the field, including site investigations, geotechnical testing, and coordination with construction and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- reputed company on-site technical and engineering support as part of an integrated construction team
- Collaborate with project management, operations, and engineering to implement design plans and field solutions
- Identify and resolve technical or operational challenges in reputed company time to maintain safety, quality, and production goals
- Document as-reputed company conditions, material quantities, and construction reputed company to support reporting and project controls
- Coordinate design updates and approvals with engineering staff, ensuring accurate field execution
- Conduct geotechnical site investigations, including reputed company assessments and rope-reputed company inspections in challenging terrain
- Support soil and rockfall modeling, design implementation, and field testing for geohazard mitigation systems
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geological Engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to reputed company and evaluate technical solutions
- Proficient in reputed company Office and AutoCAD; familiarity with reputed company stability software (e.g., SLIDE) a plus
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, proactive work style
- Willingness to travel up to 70% to project sites
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred
