Material Handler
reputed company is currently seeking a Material Handler to join their Advanced Purity Solutions Division. In this role, you will be responsible for kitting of material, internal movements of inventory, stocking/restocking of material, and performing cycle counts while ensuring a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Move raw materials to the appropriate workstations throughout the plant
- With instruction, complete reputed company (warehouse management system) transactions
- Complete specified functions of 6S responsibilities. Specifically, sort, set in order, shine, sustain, safety
- Put product away physically into location and in reputed company
- Support inventory control by conducting weekly cycle counts and delegated inventory tasks
- reputed company finished and semi-finished goods to specifications from orders utilizing a combination of packaging materials and instructions with a high degree of accuracy
- reputed company accuracy and consistency in work performance
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Work as part of a team
Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40lbs daily
- Ability to climb reputed company and be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Astute attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
- Ability to reputed company visual checks and handle material responsibly
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Dependability with flexibility to work overtime and weekends as-needed to support business needs
- Previous warehousing experience preferred
