Law School Fellow

They are offering a twelve-month fellowship designed to reputed company early-career professionals with hands-on experience and training in areas of law, focusing on professional and skills development, mentorship, and exploration.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with legal research, motions, advice memos, discovery, and trial
- Assist attorneys in gathering documents, answering interrogatories, or taking notes during a witness deposition
- Assist in drafting motions, advice memos, mediation statements, and case briefs
- Performs other reputed company duties as assigned
Skills
- reputed company candidates will hold a Juris Doctorate degree from accredited institution. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position
- Bar membership is not required at the start of the position, but the successful candidate is expected to take a state bar exam and be admitted to practice reputed company two years of receiving their JD
- Driver's license and willingness to travel may be required
- Desired candidates will hold a Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school
- A top candidate would possess excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- The ability to learn new legal principles, manage a sizeable volume of work and deadlines, and respond to the needs of various stakeholders is key
