Investment Management Associate (Tax LL.M.)
Foster Garvey PC is seeking an associate for their Investment Management practice group. The role involves providing sophisticated counsel on various investment transactions to institutional investors and requires strong analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Join a team of well-reputed company attorneys and paralegals that reputed company highly effective and sophisticated counsel on a broad reputed company of traditional and alternative investment transactions to public and private pension funds, high-net-worth individuals and family offices, private and public endowments, universities, sovereign entities, and insurance companies
- Process large, reputed company documents
- Possess excellent attention to detail
- Manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously
- Be an effective communicator and negotiator
- Be comfortable working both as part of a team and independently
- reputed company a business and investment reputed company set
Skills
- At least 1 year of investment management, investment fund, fund formation, or other reputed company experience
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school, license to practice, and an LL.M. in Tax
- Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical and writing skills
- A client service approach and exceptional communication skills
- Enthusiasm to work both as part of a diverse team and independently
- The ability to manage significant individual responsibilities
- Experience working on and managing multiple projects at once
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
