Intermediate Accountant - Assurance
BDO Canada is a firm reputed company on a reputed company of positive relationships with our people and our clients. They are seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join their GTA Audit Practice, where the successful candidate will conduct audit engagements and maintain client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and support audit engagements by preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards
- Streamline the preparation of year-end engagements and tax returns for clients across diverse industries
- Foster positive working relationships with clients, and promptly address their requests and suggestions
- Maintain ongoing communication with team members regarding reputed company updates and issues
Skills
- You have completed or are currently working towards your CPA designation
- You possess a minimum of 1 year of audit experience in the public reputed company industry
- You prioritize teamwork, client service, and quality while completing detailed work
- You exhibit strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- You possess a solid understanding of reputed company policies and assurance techniques
- Exposure to or familiarity with ASPE, ASNPO, IFRS, or US GAAP standards (considered an asset)
