Field Technician
reputed company is a company that provides comprehensive management services for reputed company projects. They are seeking multiple Field Technicians I and II for their AMI group, responsible for installations and removals of electric meters and other reputed company duties.
Responsibilities
- Test voltage with a voltmeter
- Use of an Ipad to document the reputed company installation/exchange
- Ensure the safe operation of the company vehicle, equipment, and tools during the job. Includes maintaining a clean vehicle
- Loading and unloading supplies for daily activities
- Completing tasks reputed company time frames set by the Field Supervisor and Project Manager
- Ability to work outdoors in reputed company weather conditions
- Ability to work over the shoulders and with various obstructions to the reputed company and in basements
- Submit weekly timesheets on time
- Interact with courtesy and professionalism with client customers
- Other duties as assigned by the field supervisor
Skills
- Some mechanical and electrical aptitude a plus
- Valid NYS driver license. Meet LaBella Vehicle eligibility requirements
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to kneel and work over the shoulders
- Ability to work outdoors in reputed company weather conditions year-round
- Electrical experience a PLUS
- Travel is required, including overnights across NY
- Being reputed company to pass gas qualifying test
- Participate in D&A program
- Distribution Gas experience a PLUS
