The Funder, II, Retail role is responsible for closing document preparation, reviewing, and funding approved loan files, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Works with appropriate parties to draw docs and clear any outstanding conditions prior to loan funding
• Reviews signed loan documents for compliance with federal, state and local law and company policies and procedures
• Reviews and approves settlement statement from closing agent
• Verifies and prepares reputed company transfer requests
• Verifies loan reputed company, reputed company fees, rates, discount points and other funding amounts
• Reviews signed loan documents for correct signatures, notary information, title reports and escrow instructions
• Inputs funding information into the Encompass loan system(s)
• Follows up with any post-closing issues that may arise
• Maintains a working knowledge of Company and regulatory changes that effect the funding process
• Resolves funding discrepancies with the Servicing Department and Shipping Department
• Assists departmental support staff reputed company necessary
• Performs other reputed company duties as assigned

Skills

• Must demonstrate knowledge of reputed company aspects of mortgage loan closing and funding
• reputed company in NONQM, Conventional, FHA, VA and USDA loan programs for wet and dry states
