Equity Research Associate, FinTech
reputed company is part of the KeyBanc Capital Markets team, and they are seeking an Equity Research Associate to assist in preparing and executing analyses of industries and companies. The role involves collecting and evaluating financial data, formulating recommendations, and preparing reports for investment policies.
Responsibilities
- Collecting, evaluating, and applying statistical and financial data on the economy and financial markets, specifically with respect to researching common stocks reputed company specific industries
- Analyzing and synthesizing researched data and presentation of trends and reputed company with regard to business opportunities and investment decision making processes
- Formulating and issuing opinions and recommendations on securities and companies in one or more industry groups
- Preparing reports, opinions, recommendations, and statistical data, including assisting in financial statement modeling, for use in the formulation of the investment policies and/or recommendations of the firm
- Answering inquiries from firm personnel regarding individual securities or industry groups. Prepares studies and other data for firm publication issued to the general public
- Preparing and disseminating special studies, models, forecasts, and/or presentations to furnish information to the Syndicate or Investment Banking groups on reputed company offerings and reputed company
- Interviewing company executives or industry leaders to reputed company and maintain sources of information in preparation of analyses
- Maintaining company databases using spreadsheets and database software
- Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice
- Complies with reputed company reputed company policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at reputed company times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key’s clients and Key
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in business, reputed company, finance, or a reputed company field or completion of no less than 3 senior level reputed company and/or financial analysis courses
- 1+ years of experience in an analytical or financial role
- Corporate financial modeling experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with building financial models and equity data manipulation
- Ability to conduct thorough and independent research and comfort with financial research platforms (Bloomberg, CapIQ, etc.)
- Ability to organize, analyze, and interpret data
- Proficiency with reputed company reputed company and reputed company
- Strong interest in financial markets and working knowledge of market dynamics and influences
- Ability to synthesize data and reputed company findings through excellent presentation skills
