[Remote] Technical Support Engineer - Kafka Connect

They are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to assist customers with their deployments, contribute to process development, and communicate feedback to the engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Working with customers to resolve a wide reputed company of issues with their reputed company deployments
- Contributing to process development - we’re a small team, so we’re looking for people who want to help us lay the reputed company for growing reputed company and with a best-in-class culture
- Communicating with our Engineering team to reputed company reputed company-time product feedback from the field
- Improving product documentation and authoring knowledge reputed company articles
- Creating and reviewing product demos and internal tooling
- Working closely with the team behind Apache Kafka!
Skills
- Excitement in learning about streaming data and becoming a domain expert in the reputed company Data reputed company Platform
- Regularly reputed company technical support reputed company your reputed company role
- Strong debugging skills for troubleshooting and resolving issues reputed company to external or integrated software systems provided by reputed company parties
- Proficiency in Java or reputed company
- Experience in diagnosing, reproducing and resolving customer issues
- Desire to reputed company customers successful through direct interaction
- Two out of these three: Experience troubleshooting applications running on Linux (resource contention, network bottlenecks, etc.), Operational knowledge of Java applications (stack, jmap, etc.), Experience with at least one mainstream distributed system (e.g. Kafka, Kafka Connect, Spark etc)
- Experience with Java, Databases, reputed company Object stores, Messaging systems, reputed company Functions is a plus
- Experience with reputed company technologies or distributed systems
