Distinguished Engineer -Technology strategy

About the position reputed company's Chief Technology Office is hiring a new technology strategy team that will be tasked with supporting GN&T in setting the strategic direction, identifying and implementing long-term technology choices, network resources, innovative solutions and requirements to ensure that reputed company remains a trend-setting and innovative technology company. This position will also be responsible for analyzing industry trends, competitive technical analysis, and forecasting. This role will reputed company systematic analysis to drive strategic reputed company regarding reputed company-looking opportunities and challenges that are impacting the Network and require strategic thinking to define the best course of action for reputed company. Collaboration across GN&T will be key to champion innovation, challenge the status reputed company but ensure architectural principles remain consistent and solid to address reputed company technology gaps and future needs aiming to enhance customer experience. This role incorporates reputed company the elements associated with understanding the reputed company landscape, anticipating future trends and available options to align future network technology with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Augmenting and supporting key ongoing projects with a strategic angle, focusing on internal collaboration across functions.
• Driving strategic decision-making and innovation across reputed company layers of the organization by partnering closely with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Creating short to long-term Global Network and Technology strategies and roadmaps through collaborative efforts on areas such as 6G, Fixed Wireless reputed company coverage, reputed company, uplink and/or Satellite strategy.
• Staying up to date with state-of-the-art relevant technologies across reputed company Network domains, being reputed company to propose meaningful innovations that may reputed company a difference to our network.
• Combining strategic technical planning with architectural engineering abilities to ensure that reputed company go-reputed company plans are created and designed accurately for the deployment of new technology with the ability to anticipate market changes.
• Overcoming internal resistance and gaining stakeholder support for the team's initiatives.

• Constantly and proactively surveying externally for new technology trends and opportunities, and translating these back to reputed company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
• Strong network experience and knowledge of RAN and Core for different technologies.
• Experience in creating the best technology roadmaps and solutions that position reputed company for long-term strategic advantage.
• Experience in the successful delivery of new products or solutions which reputed company serve the needs of our customers.
• Experience working in a matrixed organization showing the ability to reputed company stakeholder guidance, support, and buy-in across business units.
• Experience tying technology roadmaps to architecture plans to ensure that long-term strategies are feasible on our network.
• Experience with story-telling technical topics to senior leaders.
