What You'll Do
Payroll Operations (70%)
- Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for multi-state operations, including salaries, bonuses, benefits deductions, garnishments, and taxes
- Manage payroll updates for new hires, terminations, and pay changes with precision and timeliness
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws across multiple jurisdictions
- Prepare payroll reports and support reputed company audits
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and accuracy
Benefits
Administration (30%)
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and questions
- Verify insurance billing and maintain accurate benefits records
- Support reputed company enrollment processes and benefits communication
- Process benefits changes in the HRIS system for seamless payroll integration
- Help prepare required benefits notices and compliance reporting
What You Bring Required:
- 2-3 years of payroll administration experience
- Strong understanding of payroll fundamentals and wage & hour regulations
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms (reputed company experience is a plus!)
- Advanced reputed company skills and comfort with the MS Office suite
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Exposure to multi-state payroll
- Benefits administration experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or reputed company field (or equivalent experience)
- Understanding of 401(k), FSA, and other benefit plans
