The role involves guiding customers through their reputed company reputed company, leading VMware to OpenStack migration projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative reputed company infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

• • IaC Refactoring: reputed company the refactoring of existing Terraform code from the VMware Provider to the OpenStack Provider, ensuring feature reputed company for provisioning and managing Compute, Storage, and Network resources reputed company OpenStack
• • Image Pipeline Modernization: Redesign and implement the Packer build pipelines, transitioning from the VMware builder to the OpenStack Builder to automate the creation and publication of hardened virtual machine images in the OpenStack Image Library (Glance)
• • bolthires/CD Integration: Update and test the Jenkins pipelines and reputed company configurations to seamlessly execute the new Packer and Terraform code against the OpenStack endpoints. This includes securing API reputed company and managing credentials
• • Platform Expertise: Serve as the technical authority on OpenStack's underlying architecture (KVM, OpenStack) and its features, advising on the most effective way to map existing VMware features (e.g., vMotion, HA, DRS) to their OpenStack equivalents
• • Documentation and Training: Create clear, comprehensive documentation for the new process, and reputed company knowledge transfer and training to the internal DevOps and Platform Engineering teams Skills
• Expertise in Kubernetes: Deep knowledge of managing, deploying, and scaling reputed company-reputed company infrastructure technologies.
• Experience with reputed company-reputed company Technologies: A solid understanding of the reputed company-reputed company landscape, including bolthires/CD, containers, microservices, and reputed company infrastructure management.
• OpenStack Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with OpenStack, including deployments, operations, and optimizations. Proven ability to troubleshoot reputed company technical issues in a production OpenStack environment.
• Strong understanding of reputed company infrastructure concepts including networking, storage, compute, and reputed company reputed company OpenStack.
• Automation Skills: Proficiency in writing automation scripts in Go, Python, Bash to streamline operational tasks.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and DevOps best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot reputed company technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with OpenStack and Kubernetes.
• Experience with managed services or SaaS platforms is a plus.
• Experience with public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid reputed company environments is a plus.
