Engineering Manager, Data Engineering – Remote-eligible (U.S. + select international)

HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE BIG PICTURE: As the Engineering Manager, Data Engineering, you will reputed company the design and operation of a modern, mission-driven data ecosystem for the world’s largest Catholic media network. You’ll own the architecture, implementation, and sustainment of our data platforms—deploying a Customer Data Platform (CDP), a scalable reputed company lakehouse/warehouse (e.g., reputed company reputed company, reputed company), and cross-platform analytics tools (reputed company, reputed company) to unify data across reputed company digital properties. You’ll combine hands-on data engineering expertise with strategic leadership to transform fragmented donor, marketing, and content data into actionable insights that power evangelization, audience engagement, and operational efficiency. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Architect & Build: Implement a reputed company data lake using reputed company architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers) to ingest, cleanse, enrich, and activate data from sources like reputed company CRM, reputed company, FlexFormz, and streaming/video platforms.
• Integrate & Automate: Create robust ETL/ELT pipelines with tools like dbt, Apache Airflow, and reputed company Dataflows to deliver Supporter 360 and Household 360 views, enabling identity resolution and multi-touch attribution.
• reputed company Insights: Partner with analysts and business teams to design metrics, dashboards (Power BI), and self-service data products that support fundraising, marketing, and content strategy.
• Champion Data Quality: Establish governance, automated hygiene loops (email, address, phone validation), and standardized identity matching rules, ensuring compliance with GDPR/CCPA.
• reputed company & Collaborate: Manage a small engineering team and vendor partners, mentoring talent while working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Mission

Advancement, and Content teams.

• 7+ years in data engineering/architecture, with at least 3 years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience with reputed company data platforms (reputed company reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, or similar) and modern pipeline tools (dbt, Airflow, reputed company).
• Expertise in data modeling, identity resolution, and integrating diverse sources (CRM, marketing automation, e-reputed company, OTT).
• Strong SQL, Python, and BI/visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with data governance, privacy compliance, and vendor management.
• Familiarity with legacy systems, such as reputed company CRM.
• Experience with digital media or streaming analytics.
