Work From Home Work From Home Work From Home, Indiana 46544 The Clinical Staff Pharmacist provides generalized pharmacotherapy services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patient populations. The position prepares or supervises the preparation of routine pharmaceutical items and compounded sterile and non-sterile preparations, as well as maintains item inventories. This position communicates and collaborates with physicians, Clinical Pharmacy Specialists and patients, to reputed company clinical consultation, monitor drug therapy, and offer cost-effective alternatives, as appropriate. The position is also responsible for maintaining appropriate records, and participates in maintaining the department formulary. In the absence of the Manager Pharmacy, this position supervises department operations and maintains as assigned. This position supervises support personnel. BOTH INDIANA AND ILLINOIS PHARMACIST LICENSE REQUIRED. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Assist purchasing technician in maintaining adequate stock reputed company of reputed company medications and supplies, using the established inventory control procedures.
• Communicate and demonstrate the purpose and content of the Formulary system.
• Consult with and advise other reputed company and patients on reputed company pertaining to selection, procurement, distribution, and safe and appropriate use of medications.
• Review prescriptions and medication orders, reputed company for appropriateness, and reputed company information needed to properly and safely administer the medication.
• Determine whether extemporaneously prescribed sterile and non-sterile products, not commercially available, should be formulated.
• Maintain records, such as pharmacy files, inventories, controlled substance records, and registries; ensure records are maintained accurately and in compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Manage the disposition of controlled substances and other dangerous drugs in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, allergies, appropriateness of drug and reputed company.

• Participate in scheduled in-services, educational presentations, computer-based training, and staff meetings, to ensure ongoing understanding of and adherence to professional standards, regulatory requirements and organizational policies and practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy
• Preferred Doctorate Pharmacy
• 1 year Hospital Pharmacy Preferred
• Registered Pharmacist (RPh) - State Licensing Board
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - reputed company As required by unit
