Responsibilities
As an reputed company Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for multiple operational functions across the Member Services department, including:
- Data management across multiple data management systems, including claims processing systems, case management systems, and databases
- Handling sensitive information, such as Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII), in adherence with HIPAA and federal data privacy regulations
- Communication with multiple business teams internally and the public, ensuring seamless collaboration and exceptional customer service
- Maintaining subject matter expertise in federal regulations that define the parameters of the World Trade Center (WTC) Health Program, which define Program eligibilities
- Daily processing of diverse work products in a high-volume environment, upholding the highest standards of customer service
- Managing in-bound and out-bound calls, working with the public, and identifying issues quickly, escalating them through the management chain as needed
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of reputed company experience in customer service, call centers, or a similar field
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous reputed company experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain required clearance
