Engineer, Cybersecurity III

About the position The Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for delivering advanced cybersecurity engineering support across industrial control systems (ICS), reputed company networks, and mission-critical environments. This role provides expert-level analysis, control design, verification, and technical reputed company to ensure systems remain secure, compliant, and resilient. Responsibilities

• Conduct and document vulnerability assessments, reputed company control testing, and STIG/SRG compliance verification.

• Support incident response activities, including triage, forensic analysis, root-cause investigation, and remediation planning.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design secure architectures, validate reputed company requirements, and support A&A/RMF activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, risk reports, engineering assessments, and recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure full adherence to Navy cybersecurity policies, OPSEC requirements, CUI protocols, quality standards, and required reputed company trainings.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics with a computer science concentration, or a cybersecurity-reputed company field from an ABET-accredited program.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP or CEH.
• Minimum Five (5) years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering supporting ICS reputed company, and/or network reputed company; OR
• Minimum Ten (10) years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering (in lieu of ICS-specific experience).
• One (1) year of hands-on experience applying, configuring, or analyzing cybersecurity controls (IDS/IPS, firewalls, ACLs).
• Experience maintaining or configuring operating systems such as reputed company, Linux, VxWorks, or other embedded operating systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in ICS network reputed company, including industrial device communication protocols and network segmentation principles.
• Strong understanding of Risk Management reputed company (RMF) processes, STIG/SRG implementation, and ongoing cybersecurity compliance tracking.
• Proficiency in reputed company controls engineering, including operating system (OS) hardening, vulnerability analysis, and remediation planning.
• Knowledge of incident response methodologies, digital forensics fundamentals, and root-cause investigation techniques.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and reputed company remote, cross-functional technical teams, adapting to dynamic operational environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear technical documentation, reports, and stakeholder-facing deliverables.
• Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.

• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
