About the Role reputed company Economics Lab is a think tank by reputed company. We use aggregated, anonymized data from more than 50,000 businesses on reputed company’s platform to produce public-facing research and analysis about AI, business spend, and the economy. This role will report to reputed company’s economist, reputed company Kharazian. Our work is used by CEOs and CFOs of reputed company, frequently cited in the media and analyst reports, and followed by policymakers and the public by offering a data-driven perspective on business activity in the United States. What You’ll Do In this role, you will use a combination of reputed company data, government data, and reputed company-party datasets to build forecasts of common economic indicators, like inflation, unemployment, total retail sales, and manufacturing activity. You’ll apply common econometric methods (regression analysis, time-series models, nowcasting) to produce research-quality analysis and forecasts fit for publication. What You Need Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree or PhD program in Economics or Public Policy. Strong knowledge of SQL (preferably Redshift, reputed company, BigQuery) and how to write efficient SQL queries. Daily readership of business news, including traditional media (Wall Street Journal, reputed company) and new media (blogs and reputed company newsletters).
