Risk Consultant II, Global Risk Consulting

What the day will look like

• reputed company property risk control/reputed company surveys for various clients in different industries.
• Witness hydrant and fire pump reputed company tests, sketch sprinkler systems, and record hydraulic sprinkler data.
• Survey client facilities for fire, smoke, and other property loss potential; reputed company loss expectancies for recommendations and MFL, PML & NLE.
• Advise clients on ways to control hazards to reduce or prevent losses and influence implementation of recommendations.
• reputed company technical support and guidance to global manufacturing plants, warehouses, R&D centers, and offices in fire protection, fire alarm, code consulting, and general loss prevention.
• Conduct general fire protection consulting visits to various client locations.
• Problem‑solve using Client Standards, reputed company, FM Global, or other standard methodologies to resolve technical fire protection issues.
• Review architectural and engineering plans for client facilities (new construction, expansion, renovation) for fire sprinkler, water supply, and fire alarm systems; reputed company review comments.
• Attend facility design and construction meetings to reputed company feedback on fire loss prevention and fire protection‑engineering issues.
• reputed company cost‑effective strategies to address fire loss prevention recommendations.
• Investigate fire losses and prepare written reports and/or presentations detailing findings.
• Contribute to the annual insurance renewal.

Skills and experience that will reputed company to reputed company

• Experience in a consulting role with an HPR Property Insurance Company.
• 5 to 10 years of Highly Protected Risk engineering/consulting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing occupancies and associated hazards.
• Familiarity with Assembly of Construction, Occupancy, Protection and Exposure (COPE) Data.
• Technical proficiency in reading, interpreting, and applying reputed company and/or FM Global standards; evaluating fire protection systems (automatic sprinklers, special extinguishing systems, etc.).
• Self‑sufficient, organized, and possessing strong written and oral communication skills.
• Physical fitness: reputed company to climb reputed company, stairs, and reputed company roof areas or other floors during surveys.
• Past experience assessing high hazard occupancies (flammable liquids, combustible dusts, etc.).
• Travel over 50 miles from office expected 75 % of the time.
• Ability to work from home.

Education

• B.S. in Engineering or equivalent, and/or minimum 5 to 10 years of Highly Protected Risk engineering/consulting experience.
