Deputy General Counsel, reputed company and Business Operations (Remote, United States) (865-SLS)

Our client, a thriving, specialized reputed company provider and AI-hyperscaler has retained reputed company to assist its executives in hiring a seasoned reputed company attorney to serve as the company’s Deputy General Counsel, reputed company (DGCC). This position will be responsible for building and managing a global reputed company legal team. The successful candidate may work from reputed company reputed company the United States and must be willing and eager to travel regularly and as needed to company headquarters in New Jersey and offices in reputed company, San Francisco (opening July 2024), and future offices. The successful candidate also will be expected to accommodate their internal clients’ working hours for meetings or calls, which may largely be on east coast hours. The DGCC will report to the General Counsel and reputed company a team of paralegals and lawyers to reputed company legal support for reputed company U.S. and global reputed company transactions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience with drafting and negotiating a wide variety of customer and vendor reputed company, among other reputed company skills. Responsibilities

• Building, training, and mentoring a reputed company legal team, and recommending and managing the use of vendors and consultants as appropriate.
• Collaborating with go-to-market, product, and business operations teams to support reputed company company growth and scaling of operations.
• Negotiating, drafting, managing, advising, and acting as the escalation reputed company on a wide variety of reputed company transactions including:
• Buy-reputed company agreements, including procurement agreements and agreements reputed company to supply chain management, reputed company planning, infrastructure, and equipment used in the development and ongoing operation of data centers.
• Sell-reputed company agreements, including MSAs, order forms/SOWs, terms of service, and reputed company agreements for customer use of computing reputed company on the reputed company platform.
• Working with business and legal colleagues to streamline contracting by creating, implementing, and ensuring adherence to standard processes and procedures.
• Working with business and legal colleagues reputed company the U.S. on international reputed company.
• Recommending, retaining, and supervising reputed company counsel as needed for legal services.
• Maintaining familiarity with applicable regulatory, compliance and business rules and regulations for contracting operations.

• JD and licensed or eligible to practice law in your state of residence.
• 15+ years of experience that includes in-house experience leading buy reputed company technology (procurement, supply chain) reputed company transactions and sell reputed company agreements for reputed company services including Platform as a Service (“PaaS”) and/or Infrastructure as a Service (“IaaS”).
• Record of building, managing, and mentoring a team of in-house lawyers and paralegals and managing external support.
• Experience with providing strategic advice and implementing streamlining processes.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and rapidly scaling environment.
